Job Title

QA Engineer - Mid Level

Work Model: Remote

  • Test web, mobile, and API-based products using a solid mix of functional, regression, and exploratory testing.
  • Write clear test cases, checklists, and lightweight test plans, and contribute to end-to-end test automation suites.
  • Use browser developer tools (DevTools) to inspect network traffic and console errors, and to assist in root cause analysis.
  • Query databases to validate data integrity (making sure what’s on the UI matches the backend reality).
  • Report bugs in a way engineers love: steps to reproduce, expected vs actual, environment details, evidence.
  • Collaborate with developers, product, and other QA engineers to maintain high quality, optimize process management, and ensure clear communication.
  • Familiarity with modern QA approaches such as risk-based testing and shift-left thinking.
  • Build your QA instincts over time: risk thinking, edge cases, “this will fail in production” radar.
  • 3+ years of experience and 3+ real project experiences (you’ve seen a product lifecycle, not just tutorials).
  • ISTQB Foundation Level certification is a must. (You know the core theory and speak the universal QA language.
  • Hands-on automation touch: You’ve had real exposure to web automation frameworks (Playwright or Selenium) and mobile testing tools (Appium, etc.). You don't need to be an architect, but you should know how to navigate and maintain codebases.
  • Database familiarity: Solid knowledge of DB concepts and ability to write relational/non-relational queries (SQL/NoSQL) for data validation.
  • Performance awareness: Basic experience or strong interest in performance and load testing (ideally using modern tools like k6).
  • Strong curiosity + sharp thinking (you ask good questions).
  • High ownership and learning energy (you don’t wait to be told what to do next).
  • Clearly written communication (especially for bug reports and test documentation).
  • A real care for quality, process management, and user impact.
  • AI habits are required (practical, not hype). You don’t need to be an “AI expert”, but you do need to have built AI into your workflow. For example:
Generating test ideas and edge cases

    Summarizing logs/outputs faster

    Improving bug report clarity

    Learning tools and concepts quickly

  • We don’t care which tool you use. We care that you use it well.
  • Good command of English: You’ll be working with international teams, reading technical docs, and reporting bugs in English.
  • Basic familiarity with Cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred) and checking logs/services in cloud environments.
  • Basic familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows (running tests on pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).
  • Remote-first work with flexible hours
  • Work with experienced engineers on real-world projects
  • Learn in a collaborative and transparent team environment
  • Strong engineering culture with room for experimentation

  • Internal tech talks and shared learning sessions
  • Opportunities to attend local and Europe-based meetups and conferences
  • Home office allowance for your setup
  • Mentoring and paid cloud and platform learning paths
  • Support for certification exams
